Wharf Brisbane is a new integrated resort being built on the banks of the Brisbane
river. The multi billion dollar resort will transform the Brisbane foreshore in
to a tourism, leisure and entertainment mecca. The project will cover more than
36 hectares of land and water and include 1000 premium hotel rooms, 2000
residential apartments, a new pedestrian bridge linking the north and south
banks of the river and a 100 meter sky deck with 180 degree views.
excavation process started in 2016 with Probuild being awarded the demolition
and enabling works contractor. Since then we have seen road closures of Queens
Wharf and Williams roads, the demolition of non-heritage buildings while
securing and hoarding the site for safety. The build has a completion date of
an international council that awards environmentally friendly developments has
recognised the Queens Wharf Project a 6 star green community. The project was
recognised for its “livability.” Its onus on green spaces, arts, culture and
its promotion of healthy lifestyles that are integrated within the resort.

Star Entertainment Group, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and the Far East Consortium.
The Consortium had to go through a lengthy tender process but eventually won
the right to build the project in 2015.
