Discussion The purpose of this study was to assess theresearch-related barriers that prevent rehabilitation therapists fromimplementing evidence based practice. TheFactors of BARRIERS scaleCommunication emerged as the factor with the highestmean score, followed by organization, innovation and adopter. The exact orderof the barrier factors perceived by the therapists is consistent with previousstudy conducted among Australian pediatric occupational therapists (7).
