CHAPTER-5 RESULTS RESULTS GENERALPARAMETERS: The intension of the project is to control theenvironmental parameters in Greenhouse. In our Project we are using differentsensors for controlling the environmental parameters like temperature, humidityand carbon dioxide gas in Greenhouse. EXPERIMENTALMODEL: In the experimental model, thehardware consists ARM7 processor LPC2148 along with Temperature sensor LM35, Humiditysensor and Carbon dioxide gas sensor MQ-7 to measure the parameters oftemperature, carbon dioxide and humidity respectively. Also the project consists Relay unit, WIFImodule and LCD display for obtaining output. Fig: Overview ofthe project showing outputs The results can be displayedthrough LCD display and also we can read the results in our mobile through WIFImodule used in our project. It is a wirelesssensor network with additional hardware and software which is solution forGreenhouse control and also can be operated using WIFI. Also, the user canutilize cell phone to set sensor parameters from wherever by sending settingcharge message to GSM module.
The system can be turned ON or OFF just bysending a message. TECHNICALPARAMETERS: The sensor cluster consists of three sensors. They areTemperature sensor LM35, Humidity sensor and carbon dioxide gas sensor. Thesesensors will be connected to the processor which screens the sensors and givessimple yield i.
e., variable voltage yield. By using simple ADC themicrocontroller changes over simple flag to advanced shape. TEMPERATURESENSOR (LM35): The temperaturesensor gives variable yield voltage regarding temperature variety. LM35 isutilized as temperature sensor which is an exactness coordinated circuit temperaturesensor calibrated specifically in degree Celsius (centigrade) linear +10.

HUMIDITYSENSOR: Humidity sensor is used tocalculate the amount of water content in the environment.
The sensor yield willbe a variable voltage as for humidity level. In our module we set atleast level to half and most extremelevel to 65%. If the humidity exceeds the threshold the drier fan can be ON byusing relay switch.
If the humidity falls beneath level then the relay switch ONthe water sprinkler. CARBONDIOXIDE(GAS)SENSOR: This sensor is utilized to detectconvergence of carbon dioxide in greenhouse.MQ-7 sensor is utilized as CO2sensor which is high affectability to LPG, petroleum gas, affectability toliquor and smoke. Carbon dioxide concentration discovery go to 200ppm to1000ppm. Convergence of CO2measured in PPM or %. If the centralization of C02 is upper limit level relay5is turned ON and it opens ventilator.
If the CO2 level is beneath the thresholdthen the relay6 closes the ventilator. This sensor is additionallyutilized as gas sensor to recognize smoke if happens in greenhouse. Thearchitecture is designed in keil software.

Form wise humidity and carbon dioxideparameters values are given below. Temperaturesensor parameters for different types of vegetable farms given below. Tableshowing temperature parameters. Inthis way, the values can be obtained by using these sensors. The readings willbe displayed in the LCD display panel.
These values can be sent to the mobilethrough wifi module by sending IP address. Hence, we can see the condition ofgreenhouse in mobile. TESTCASE: We can connect the processor to themobile or pc to see the output values of the sensor. Operation: 1) First connect wifi module. using wifi in your mobile connect to wifi module.
