Soup to cell is a Non-Profitorganization that helps prisoners in local and state confined institutions byhelping to benefit and minister to the lost and broken. We provide nutritiousmeals to men and women in prison. Our three key principles: ServeOur organizationserves the prisoners of local and state prisons. In Galatians 5:13,God calls usto use our freedom to serve others humbly with love. You, my brothers and sisters, werecalled to be free.
But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love (Galatians 5:13). When our organization serves, we give all the glory toGod. 2) TeachOur organization teaches theprisoners to love and follow God for He is the real Teacher.
In 2 Timothy3:16-17, Paul, the author of 2 Timothy, tells us that all scripture can be usedfor teaching. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of Godmay be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We giveall the glory to God for He is out Teacher. 3) Ministerthe way we minister to the prisoners at localprisons is by having bible study groups on Saturdays and Mondays we alsoprovide inmates with bibles as often as possible when we can’t provide bibles wepray for them and for their forgiveness “”ButI say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” {Matthew5:44} we need to pray for inmates because some of them might not know God aswell as other’s.
