DURANGODecember 2017CHAPTER IINTRODUCTION    Every learner is all understood to be very different and as teachers, we should set that one as the basic concept to be predicted when we are called to teach. It is a very fundamental assumption to teach in the classroom we are in should be very interactive. It requires teaching strategies to know what the variables are for coaching, culture, achievements, and appropriate factors.    Rosenshine and Frust (1973) reported that students learn best when the following characteristics are present: (1) variability in teaching methods and materials, (2) interest, (3) clarity, (4) task-oriented behaviour, (5) student opportunity to learn the material, (6) multiple levels of questions and (7) enthusiasm.    In Yelon (1996, p.3) he promoted the ten powerful instructional principles that he believed excellent teachers apply which are: meaningfulness, prerequisite, open communication, organized essential ideas, learning aids, novelty, modeling, active appropriate practice, pleasant conditions and consequences, and consistency.    Furthermore enables the power to think and solve a problem a problem should be a component of a well-designed instructional strategy, well-strategized teaching style, and its effectiveness. The kind of teaching in particular in secondary education is said to be more on problem solving and analyzation. According to Dyer and Osborne (1995), the learner’s problem-solving ability can be accelerated with the use of appropriate instructional approach such that for example in information and communication technology (ICT) education program provides a curriculum intended at serving individuals a sort of knowledge and skill in technological advancement.    Newcomb et. al (1986) and Tyler (1969) concluded that the teaching strategy must base learning on inquiry, investigation, and critical study in situations in which genuine purposes, needs, and wants are experienced. For this concept, teachers and their teaching strategies are said to be a continuous topic in all educational ventures and settings.    In the most recent observation and investigation of different researchers, the much apprehension uttered is all about the eminence teaching in various institutions, while on the other dimension industries are rapidly ravenous to seek a well-educated person in their place of work. This phenomenon has raised relevant concerns which led to the issue of quality teaching strategies and its effectiveness in all levels of education from kindergarten to college true to all institution. According to Carkhuff (1981), teaching is the opportunity to help others to build their lives and lives fully, which means we help to give our learners’ lives through physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth. Anderson (1994) concluded that students production profoundly depends on the teaching strategies especially teaching planning, teaching method selection, and having a variety of learning activities that would merely test the enthusiasm and interest of every learner.    Students are understood to be raised with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. The effective teaching approach is not only dependent on teaching techniques or strategies or their effectiveness but hence, it also depends on an individual needs and adequacy of the content if they fully understand your delivered substance of the various topics. There is always a remote assumption that students can learn only with altered teaching styles, at a different speed of approach,  diverse levels of injected prior knowledge and different environment or educational setting when the subject stuff is given by the way of an assortment of teaching strategies.    There are still a lot of concern expressed about the quality and sharpen teaching in education.
