Feeling stressed? Of course you are. You have too much on your plate, deadlines are looming, and people are counting on you. You are under a lot of pressure so much that at times, you wonder how you can manage it. This is a common problem in the everyday life of an adult, teenager, and even a child. The difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t is not whether or not you suffer from stress, but how you deal with it. Stress is a very difficult condition to have to live with however, you can cope with it by practicing yoga, drinking herbal teas, and by taking steps to prevent it.In medicine, stress is a physical, chemical, or emotional development that causes strains that can lead to physical illness. Yoga is a mind bodying practice that is very simple and effective when done right and can help aid in keeping normal levels of stress. Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines that may help you achieve peacefulness of body and mind. The development of yoga has been traced back to over 5,000 years ago. There is a broad variety of yoga schools, practices and, goals in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Among the most well-known types of yoga are Hatha and Raja. Yoga is so effective because it uses natural movements to reduce stress instead of medications that can take weeks to begin working. Numerous people are too stressed to find time and energy to begin yoga so a more time efficient remedy is tea. A person who has never been a tea drinker may find it odd to reduce stress. However it’s not just drinking the tea that reduces stress it is also the routine that accompanies this stress reducer. There are six common types of tea that help to relieve stress these include; peppermint, chamomile, lemon balm, passion flower, green, and rose tea. Peppermint is the most common because it not only reduces stress levels but also tastes the best. The science behind this is that tea contains amino acids that produce a calming effect that, will in turn, reduce stress. Some simple prevention tips may also be effective in trying to overcome stress.  Working on your time management may reduce stress by giving you time to do daily activities you want and need to do, helping you find a balance between work, school, and family matters. The most important prevention tip is healthy eating. In the United States, the majority of adults are overweight or obese. A large amount of them say they eat unhealthy to distract themselves from stress, but they are only making it worse. Another prevention tip is getting enough sleep. Sleep helps regenerate systems in the body that regulate stress. When people are tired they tend to become agitated more easily which can cause stress. When you practice coping with stress through the use of any of these natural methods, you may find that you can not only combat stress but beat it before it starts to adversely affect you. In doing one of these three remedies it should become more apparent that, although stress is a troublesome spell it can surely be overcome. Yoga, teas, and preventing are all logical and natural ways of coping with stress. Everyone experiences stress in one form or another. Some people can deal with stress differently than others. However it is likely that at some point you will be faced with it and find one of the three remedies listed above very helpful for destressing.
