The outcome was good comparedto what was happening before the battle. With the Conquest being over theenemies was not able to invade England with William the Conqueror being the newking. At the end of the Norman Conquestit ended a complicated drama that started years earlier. The complicated dramawas something that was going on for a long time, so it was the final act afterthe Conquest. Before the Norman Conquest there was drama between Williamand Harold because William was supposed to be crowned king instead of Harold.So after Harold being killed William was crowned as the new king of England.The drama was really squashed by doing this battle and the crown being crownedto someone else.
