In Our sample, we include 17863 married women of different ages. Minimum age of the respondents was 15 years, with an average age of 30.
87 years. For both urban and rural areas, most of the women lie between 25 to 34 years old. Our total sample consists of seven geographical areas. In urban areas, most of the women (21.9%) were from the Dhaka region and in rural areas, most of them (15.4%) were from the Rangpur region.
In rural, most of the women are in poor condition, but in the urban area, most of them (44.5%) were the rich socio-economic condition. Most of the women are ready to use contraceptive it is about 61% for urban and 57.4% for rural areas respectively.
For both urban and rural, most of them have 1 to 2 child. In urban areas, most (42.3%) of the respondents have age at first birth between 18 years to 22 years but in rural areas most (50.8) of the respondent’s age at first birth 13 to 17 years old. In urban areas, 18.
7% had no education and 24.7% had higher education level and in rural areas, 26.1% had no education, and 10.8% had higher education level. For the study purpose, we categories BMI into three categories i.e.
, underweight, overweight and obese and this study follows WHO criteria to calculate BMI (WHO, 2018). For both areas most of them are underweight it is about 64.5% for urban and 81.8% for rural people and 8.
1% and 2.6% women are obese in both urban and rural areas.(Table1 Appendix).
Multi-Factor Analysis Using FactoMineR Package:The correlation circle of two groups of factors with one supplementary variable is depicted in Fig. 1. It represents the integration of two groups (Socio-demographic group and Reproductive group) i.e. integration between the Socio-demographic group and reproductive group. This figure also shows the association among the factors of Socio-demographic group and reproductive group separately.
Longer the vectors indicate more significant and the vectors that are close to each other with same sign indicate the highly positive association. Vectors that are opposite direction are showing negative association and the vectors that are almost 90-degree angle are showing no association. First principal component shows around 17.78% of the variation in the dataset and 2nd one show around 11.88% of the variation of the dataset.
