it is located in the south of India, in theMalabar coast .this country was formed on November 1 1956 the language they usein it is called Malayalam, it is bordered with Karnataka to the north andnortheast. Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Lakshadweep Sea to thewest. Kerala is the thirteenth-largest Indian state by population. It isdivided into 14 districts with the capital and the largest city being Thiruvananthapuram.Tsunamis are the result of earthquakes and can be one of the most deadlyresults of such a geological disturbance. Tsunamis are large waves that arecreated when an earthquake occurs out at sea.
The plates shift and the motioncauses a huge wave that builds up momentum and size as it reaches land masses.These huge waves, as high as 100 feet can take out buildings, structures andcause destruction for miles. Many people have become homeless or have lostfamily and friends in the furious flood of a tsunami. In my area in 2012 a verymassive tsunami hit Kerala but until know we didn’t have any tsunami. Alight earthquake struck the Idukki region in Kerala, India, on 12 December 2000at 06:53 AM local time resulting in some damage to property in parts of centralKerala.
