I eventually learned the difficulty in that field and I am always told to have a backup career. Moreover, I discovered my black up plan was to become a Industrial Designer according to my personality test. However, I have always enjoyed drawing or imagining designs of my own as a kid I made a lot of weird/ little sculptures and came up with a lot of ideas but never really thought about it as a career.

VALID INFO:ENTP’s are masters of re-inventing the wheel and often refuse to do a task the same way twice. They question norms and often ignore them altogether.
Established procedures are uninspiring to the Visionary, who would much rather try a new method (or two) than go along with the standard. ENTP’s prize competency and often want to be the expert. They enjoy work that demands continual improvement in their knowledge and skills. They value power, and want a career that allows them contact with powerful people and the opportunity to increase their own influence. ENTP’s are idea people, and chafe at routine.
They get bored very quickly when required to repeat a task or attend to details. They do best when their work is highly conceptual, and allows them to solve problems creatively without having to think through the details. Industrial designers must have Creativity. For example, Industrial designers must be innovative in their designs and the ways in which they integrate existing technologies into their new product. Industrial designers must have Interpersonal skills. For example, Industrial designers must develop cooperative working relationships with clients and colleagues who specialize in related disciplines.
Industrial designers must have Mechanical skills. For example, Industrial designers must understand how products are engineered, at least for the types of products that they design.Industrial designers must have Developing Objectives. For example, strategies establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. Industrial designers must have Innovation skills. For example, a job requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.

For example, a job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. CONNECTION TO CHOSEN CAREER:The ideal work environment for an ENTP is intellectually challenging without being rigid, with creative and intelligent co-workers. The ideal job for an ENTP allows them to put their creativity to work developing innovative ideas, while allowing them to delegate responsibility for the tedious details of implementation to others.Industrial designers must have Analytic skills. For example, use logic or reasoning skills to study consumers and recognize the need for new products. Industrial designers must have Artistic ability.
For example, Industrial designers sketch their initial design ideas, which are used later to create prototypes. As such, designers must be able to express their design through illustration. Industrial designers must have Computer skills. For example, Industrial designers use computer-aided design software to develop their designs and create prototypes.SIMILARITIESTop executives often work many hours, including evenings and weekends. In 2016 about half worked more than 40 hours per week.
Industrial designers who are self employed or work for firms that hire them out to other organizations may need to adjust their workdays frequently in order to meet with clients in the evening or on weekends.DIFFERENCES:Because entrepreneurs tend to work for themselves and start their own businesses, there are few job postings seeking entrepreneurs.
